Formally, points are made with little prosody, rhythm or imagery.
Casual writing is unwieldy and usually thoughtless. Expressions and idioms fall into place and fill out an inconstrained sentence.
So:
- Try writing shorter sentences.
- Leave important points at the end of them.
- Or, the end of a sentence should be important.
- Don't use expressions and idioms. Think for yourself.
