At the moment I'm trying to bridge the gap between writing casually and writing formally.
Formally, points are made with little prosody, rhythm or imagery.
Casual writing is
unwieldy and usually thoughtless. Expressions and idioms fall into place and fill out an inconstrained sentence.
So:
- Try writing shorter sentences.
- Leave important points at the end of them.
- Or, the end of a sentence should be important.
- Don't use expressions and idioms. Think for yourself.
